How to play Paper.io
Players move around the map leaving trails outside their territory to capture new areas.
Once players return safely to their own land, the enclosed space becomes part of their territory.
However, while expanding, their trail remains exposed and can be destroyed instantly if touched by another player.
This creates intense risk-versus-reward gameplay where players must balance expansion and defense carefully.
Players can also eliminate rivals by cutting through their trails and stealing territory. As competition grows, strategic movement and quick reactions become essential for dominating the map and becoming the largest territory owner.
